The Bed

So I've been looking online for a few months now looking for a cheap way to make Mai's bed a little more fun.  I wanted a canopy or curtains around it so it looked like a princess bed. I finally found the perfect way!! I emailed it to Brent and he was able to make it for her. The curtains are from Ikea so the whole thing was really really cheap! here are the instructions I found on the internet...

".....You can also use some small PVC pipes, using the elbows, make a rectangle with the same measurements as your bed. You can paint them and either hang them from the ceiling using decorative chains or use the 3 sided fittings on each corner you can add 4 pipes and fit them in between your mattress and the bed frame. "

It turned out SO SO cute and Maibel LOVES it. It makes me want to have one too!! Its so fun!!

Sweet Dreams

Maibel and I were at Target the other day and she really, really wanted this sleeping mask they had in the dollar section. So I bought it and she now has traded in her night cap for this sleeping mask. Its so funny. She wears it all night.

Maibel has sticker chart that she puts stickers on when she does her chores. She has been working on this chart for a very long time and the prize was to go to Kangaroo Zoo when it was all full. Well, today she was able to go to Kangaroo Zoo!! She was able to take one friend with her and that was Cesia.  They were SO excited.  Cesia spent the night last night and than we went this morning. They played there for two and half hours!! She is so tired. There was a little boy following Maibel everywhere and finally Cesia had had enough and she came and told me that if he didn't stop following Maibel, than she wanted to just go home.  It was funny. So, I told her I would go watch them play and sure enough, that little boy went EVERYWHERE Mai was going. I kinda had mixed emotions about it because it was really cute but boys following her already!?!? Really?!
